About the Role

Design, develop, and commission control systems for clients across oil & gas, water, power, and industrial manufacturing sectors. You will own deliverables across the full engineering lifecycle — from functional design through to site acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop PLC programs (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, ABB, Schneider) per FDS.
  • Design and configure HMI/SCADA applications including alarm management and reporting.
  • Produce engineering deliverables: I/O lists, architecture drawings, loop diagrams, FAT/SAT procedures.
  • Execute Factory and Site Acceptance Tests during commissioning phases.
  • Configure industrial networks: Ethernet/IP, Modbus, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, OPC-UA.
  • Participate in HAZOP/SIL reviews and implement SIS logic per IEC 61511.

Requirements

  • BSc in Electrical, Control Systems, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 3–6 years of hands-on control system engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in at least two major PLC platforms (Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, ABB).
  • Experience with SCADA/HMI platforms (Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk, WinCC).
  • Strong understanding of P&IDs, loop drawings, and cause & effect diagrams.

About the Role

SCOVA is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations across our engineering and project teams. You will be a central point of coordination — managing communications, documentation, scheduling, and office administration to keep things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Prepare, format, and distribute correspondence, reports, and technical documents.
  • Maintain organised filing systems for project documents, contracts, and company records.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors for document flow and communications.
  • Support project teams with purchase orders, invoices, and expense reporting.
  • Handle visa, PRO, and government-related administrative processes (UAE experience preferred).
  • Assist in organising company events, workshops, and client visits.
  • Manage office supplies, facilities coordination, and liaise with service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of administrative experience, ideally in an engineering or technical company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with document management systems and project coordination tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a plus.
  • High level of discretion, organisational skill, and attention to detail.
